WHAT IS FASHIONTECH?

As a term that encapsulates the convergence of the latest technological advancements with the dynamic world of fashion. Fashiontech encapsulates the integration of cutting-edge technologies into the fashion sector, fundamentally altering every facet from design to delivery for professionals. This burgeoning domain leverages innovative technologies to reengineer the traditional processes and experiences associated with fashion. By introducing elements such as virtual fashion and digital fashion, fashiontech is not only redefining how garments are created but also how they are presented and consumed in the digital realm.

Artificial intelligence is playing a pivotal role in streamlining fashion logistics through AI-managed systems, automated production lines, and the adoption of 3D printing techniques. The emergence of smart clothing and wearable technology exemplifies the practical application of fashion technology, merging aesthetics with functionality to produce attire that transcends conventional expectations. Augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) are also key players in fashiontech, offering immersive experiences that allow consumers to try on and personalize products virtually.

Technology Education

Your support is funding and enhancing program quality and development
opportunities. We are providing students with unique digital programs,
career readiness opportunities, exposure to industry trends, and access to
like-minded peers and professionals in the field. This exposure not only
enriches the educational experience but also opens doors for potential
mentorship, internships, and future career pathways for the students
involved.

ABOUT US

The Next IT Girl is a technology education nonprofit changing the face of technology. We’re bridging the gap by connecting students, academia, and businesses to create an ecosystem of innovation and drive the change we need to see in tech.

We educate, mentor, and advance young women of color on all aspects of computer science and information technology. By supporting broader career options and encouraging all technical interests, we provide the support network they need to pursue and excel in technology-related careers.

Within the field of technology are a host of specialized areas. Our signature programs like ‘IT Girl’ clubs let young women learn the basics into specific concepts of technology. We aim to give students exposure to technology outside of traditional book learning with instructors and mentors who are relatable on a personal, interest, gender, and/or racial level. Whether our students want to explore technology as a career option or just want more understanding of how it integrates with other industries, our programs provide that.

Talent Pipeline and Recruitment

The Next IT Girl’s mission and programs draw in a diverse student and
support network creating unique opportunities to gain valuable exposure of
your brand. This engagement can lead to increased brand awareness
among potential future employees and/or consumers, creating a positive
association with the company in local communities and building a more
diverse and skilled workforce.

Long-Term Partnership

The Next IT Girl is seeking multi-year partnerships that will create a lasting

legacy for both our organization and our partners. By committing to a multi-
year collaboration, we can strategically plan, strengthen our partnership,

and significantly amplify the positive impact we can achieve together.
